Walter Harrell, Jr., New Jersey All State Cross Country “72”, National Track and Field Champion “73” and NCAA All American, has been photographing sports figures for more than thirty years. Former New Jersey Track and Field official and Pennsylvania licensed (1996- present) soccer coach, Walter’s passion for sports covers parking lot handball to the New York Yankees chasing another pennant. From the youngest of amateurs to highest paid professionals, capturing that split second in time is what Photo Art by WHJR offers.

Sports photography means real time action. Hitting the tape in record time of the hundred-meter dash, scoring the game-winning goal in soccer, hitting that three-point basket to win in overtime, are moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. Photo Art by WHJR provides real, game time photographs of events captured in a split second that an athlete can enjoy for the rest of their lives. Most sports photography companies show up on a scheduled date, take team photos and individual portraits and then they are gone until next year. We cover player and/or team season, which enable Photo Art by WHJR to create action memory mates, magazine covers, action collages and CD/DVD’s that cover a season of highlights.
